Vacancy - Florist Assistant

Job Description:
- Assist florists in preparation of products including:
- Prepare and process fresh cut flowers
- Prepare wrapping & packaging materials
- Prepare simple bouquets & fruit boxes and baskets
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workspace
- Assist in overall operations including:
- Attend to walk-in customers or pick up by deliveryman
- Logistic functions such coordinate with deliveryman & printing of message cards
- Perform stock count
Requirements:
- Proactive attitude in completing tasks, finding new ways to resolve issues, and supporting team members across all business functions
- Able to work overtime during peak periods (e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day)
- No prior experience in floral industry is required
- Ability to speak and write English, Malay, and Chinese is a plus
- Able to commute to and work in Petaling Jaya (our workshop is within walking distance from Kelana Jaya Line LRT station)
- 6 working days a week with total 5.5 rest days a month
- Working hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Overtime pay is provided.
- This is a full-time & permanent job position. Part-time position is not available.
- Malaysian only.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Basic salary of RM2,300 – RM2,800 per month (depending on experience & capability)
- EPF, Socso, overtime allowance, travel allowance, medical allowance, meal allowance provided
- Monthly performance-based incentives
- Yearly performance-based bonus
