Qi Xi

Qi Xi 2025 falls on the 29th of August. It celebrates the love story between Zhinü (weaver girl) and Niulang (cowherd). Chinese myth has it that Zhinü and Niulang are separated against their will. Once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, a flock of magpies would form a bridge to bring the lovers back together for just one day.
